You sound so completely frustrated and hurt. No one should be scowling at you or calling you names. You are normal for you and if you aced tests you must have your wits about you.

We have several friends who are developmentally delayed (old word called retarded) and what you describe does not sound like them at all. They are aware and loving and tender and just wonderful people as I am sure you are.

Please be gentle with yourself and know that there is help for dissociation. Please keep reading around PC and writing your concerns.
