I have really been bothered lately by the plethora of "regretful jurors" now speaking out about their experience on the Michael Jackson case. Why oh why Now are they proclaiming that they felt he was guilty even though they voted to acquit? What possible good can it do to "let it all hang out" now? I find it scary that these seemingly ordinary folks would go through such an ordeal only to reveal that they didn't vote the way they felt they should have at the time. I realize that our justice system is based on evidence and facts....but if every instinct in a juror is telling them that someone is guilty, then shouldn't they say so and ask for more time for that "evidence gathering" to happen?
I mean...I know that they were tired of it all.....but why now? This is a cruel trick to play on society....sorry, but that's how I feel.....any feedback?
