I know that some GP doctors can act as counsellors for people too. I imagine that you could develop strong transference for them (with or without counseling), because of the parental feelings attached to their caring job.

I was wondering, would this count as a dual relationship? Because if I developed transference for my doctor because of the counseling offered, sharing intimate details about my body or being nude in front of her would probably overwhelm me emotionally. Although I guess doctors are still holding boundaries... I don't know. What do you think?
