Blue, all you wrote sounds completely overwhelming. I am so glad you called the mom and told her to come get her kids. I am so glad your H is helping clean up the living room mess.

It is so hard to say no. Why don't they teach that in school--how to say no? Why don't they teach us to set boundaries? Saying no is setting a boundary, right? How about when you go in the bedroom for a sec to catch your breath, you lock the door behind you so the hordes can't follow? Just for 5 minutes. Can they go bug dad while you take a few minutes to recoup?

I hope you don't get all that snow so the kids can go back to school as scheduled. Can your H take the kids to basketball practice tomorrow?
