You are one of the lucky ones, some people have no shame, guilt, etc. Honestly, think of it as a blessing in disguise...you can move on now to a better life.

Wow, Persie, that's very insightful. As awful as it feels, these feelings may indeed help me onto a healthier path. Before meeting my husband, these behaviors were exciting, fun, and made me feel cared for. Although I felt a twinge of those feelings during the situation, I was left feeling all these awful emotions that I never felt when I was younger. That does give me some hope that I can change this. It doesn't seem like it will be an easy task. But it's one that I will have to tackle because I don't want to feel this way, that's for sure.
