My Sky has a couple of ladies online that we have none for years that she calls, Mom, Momi, Momie, and Nana. So its over a couple I am glad to know that it wasn't just me that had littles calling other people mommy and daddy. I think it would be fine for your little one to give him the card since he was happy about the fact before.
