I can understand your line of work well. It is stressful and sure helps to keep your cool. Perhaps you can arrange working less hours as you get back into the groove and gain more control over the depression & stress??

In the meantime, be sure to exercise regularly to work out that stress (rather than letting it bubble inside). Meditate, and practice other feel good techniques that award you for moving forward. I hope that things begin moving forward soon and that work becomes less stressful for you.
