Some people might think, we are what we do -meaning we identify ourselves by our job, marital status and by what we have. This isn't the true meaning of identity - you're still an important person. It's not your fault you're sick. How about you start out with small steps. I also highly recommend starting an exercise program- this will make you feel stronger in everyway. There also an advertisement for a good series on PBS today(4th) through the 6th at 9:00 pm called This Emotional Life - I hope you see something that will inspire you there.
