until we get people educated about spaying, neutering and being responsible pet owners, we're screwed. there are so many wonderful pets in shelters and yet people insist upon spending $$$ for a purebred. i wish more people would take the time to go to their local shelter and "shop" for a pet. they would love what they take home....pat
