Wisewoman, thank you for this post. As I've gotten older (& hopefully wiser myself), one of the truths I've recognized is that not only is giving to others, nurturing and reaching out a good thing for them....it is very healing to me. When I'm involved in giving of myself, I'm truly happier....and I feel an inner peace that tells me that this is the right way to be....it's right in every respect.
