When science fiction shows like that trigger me (yes, it's science fiction because they're just projecting their idea of what could happen but there are many ways it could go) I remember how old I am and how long I'm likely to live, etc. I'll probably die before 2040 so some of the things they talk about is "meaningless".

If there's nothing you, personally, can do about their projections, it's meaningless to you? Think of something you would like to do to help the planet and work on doing that. They're doing the show to make people aware, not to scare them. You heard how, at the last summit, we're all still arguing about climate change. Plant a tree or take some other action that will do a little bit in your corner to make it better.
