Wow - sounds like you have a hosts of issues - but one thing I want to say is about the amount of fluid you are drinking. I live near DC, and a bicycle cop died this past week after a 21 mile training exercise. It turns out he had had TOO much water ! It caused an imbalance in the sodium levels in his system, and stopped his heart. They also reported the same can happen with Gatorade. It was reported he drank 3 gallons of water during the training exercise. I know that when out in the heat we have to take in fluids, but I am wondering if there is a chance you are drinking too much ? Having been dehydrated a few times myself - making starting an IV very difficult, it CAN be done no matter how bad the veins are - but then again - if your sodium, electrolytes are outta whack from too much fluid - (and I dont think this is something many people KNEW until now) - more IV's could actually make u sicker ! Seems like a Catch 22 situation! Have you tried salt tabs while u are out and having to drink so much ? Perhaps you could ask your Doc about that.

As for periods - lots of reasons for them to stop - but if your GP says it can be part of menopause - he/she is smarter than I am for sure - but I dont think many people have them just stop........I think it has something to do with your weight, and the fluids issue, but of course - Just MHO !

Hope you soon feel better !
