My external speakers aren't working but the internal ones are. I found a loose connection but that wasn't it. I've checked all I know how to check and everything "says" everything else is working just fine. I've changed settings and changed them back again, you name it, and nothing is working.

Could it be my sound card? My logic says "no." Otherwise I wouldn't get any sound, right?

How do I figure all this out??
