It was brief. I was at a camp area... the 200+ crowd had gone... one friend around... I decided to use the "rest room." I got locked in the stall! I mean, the bolt was on the inside, but I had taken my wrist splints off due to the heat and that they were drenched with sweat... and it had been way too long a day for me.. and was growing dark... no lights in the area.... I was fatigued, and my hands don't have good strength or coordination... and I couldn't get the bolt back open.
I had been "trapped" under the shelter that collapsed on me so many years ago...
I remembered to breathe (thank you Dr Frazier)... and stepped back from the door... I had already told my friend (several times) I can't get out, I can't undo the lock... I tried to think... rather than panic... tried... I knew the ranger could be contacted... but that meant being alone... trapped... in the dark... with storms... sigh my friend was going to "do something" I have no idea what... to the door (she's like 5' tall but gutsy) but one more effort... ouch sigh the bolt freed up. I hate this. What if??? ok not allowed to do what ifs.. nm.
