Can't be sure cuz I'm not there. Do your external speakers require additional power source, are they plugged into the correct spot? Is the switch on the speakers turned ON and UP? Is the setting for using external speakers selected on your computer (or is it set for inboard ones?) Do you "apply" the selection, if so? thinking...
