I became aware that it had negative effects on me one evening when I smoked a bit and then made a business call and I had difficult expressing myself as well as normal. For several years I have had apathy and cannot complete simple tasks at times. So I thought perhaps the marijuana was causing the apathy. Plus I have asthma and I know that smoking anything is not good for my lungs. And I don't really have the extra money for it.

As far as being dangerous I don't think it is unless you are driving a vehicle after smoking weed. It does affect your depth perception so I would not ever drive my car or ride or handle my horse after using it.

I read that THC is now available in a capsule but I don't recall what it is called.

I have read that there is no toxic dose of marijuana known. It is not physically addictive like alcohol however it can be psychologically addictive.

I have been using xanax and temazapam for several years for anxiety and insomnia. Those work better for those symptoms than the marijuana.

Plus the fact that marijuana is illegal is a deterrent.
