Hugs are not always good. In fact, I do not like perfunctory hugs--to me a hug loses its meaning if it becomes something that is automatic. I feel this way about f2f hugs as well. I do not hug people as a way to say "hello". I do not hug strangers.

I have to admit that one of the problems i have encountered in online communities is the prevalence of (((((cyberhugs))))). To me they just seem disingenuous---its SO easy to make those (((( ---and why bother to really understand if you can cover it over with a ((((softhug)))).

Just my opinion yall...
