I beg to differ!!!! Something of cataclysmic proportions happened. It was because of Y2K that I met my wonderful husband! He was in charge of a large Y2K system conversion at Universal Underwriters in Kansas City and I was working in Kansas as a computer technician when we met. A year later we married and celebrated the incoming of the new millenium in London. Should have seen the mess on Tower Bridge. Champagne bottles everywhere. There were some really grumpy street workers sweeping up on January 1. Hubby stayed on another week in London and made sure that everything didn't blow up and there was not a glitch.
We didn't see any planes falling, banks failing or traffic tie-ups, except for the usual ones in London.
