What are her physical limitations. Could you get her into a water aerobics class. When I used to take my youngest for swimming lessons. there was always a water class going on. Most of the people were 50+ yrs and it was also a chance to socialize. It's very important that she moves around to keep up her strength. The old saying "use or lose it" is so true. Tell her not to worry aobut what people think.
