I had to do it!
First time I brought it home, the battery died.

So it was eerily quiet and I wasn't sure why and hoped I hadn't broken it. Turns out nope, battery just died. (Phew!)
Second time, I took it home for twice the length of time because I wanted the real experience of it all. I should say this was all in my Parenting class in highschool.
The baby was... fussy. It had a key in its back you had to turn and hold for anywhere from 5 minutes to 30! If you didn't get to the baby soon enough, it would just make the next session of crying even longer! They also attached the key for the baby to your wrist so it couldn't come off, so you couldn't give responsibility for baby to someone else.
I slept in the basement the entire weekend. Mostly so I didnt wake up the rest of the family. It wasn't too bad though, but I was glad I wasn't thinking of children at the time! Perhaps now would be different since I'm a lot older.
For the mark on the assignment, I did pretty well I believe. I managed to get an A overall in the class, and the baby WAS a major part of the grade.
