Yes, what we feel is what's important in our dreams (just like in therapy), not necessarily the literal action, which often doesn't make sense to other people or is impossible, etc. I got so I looked forward to and liked dreaming, even the nightmares and other tough dreams because of what it could tell me I was working on in my unconscious. Knowing they were just dreams and coded information for me made them interesting to work with. The better I got in therapy, the less I remembered my dreams, the less intense they got, etc. I think dreams are a great tool for getting better.
