kitty, hi and welcome! it sounds like the breakup was necessary. however, that certainly doesn't mean it won't, and doesn't, hurt. it's hard. i know when i divorced my first husband, i grieved. it was what i'd wanted for a long time, but was still a death of sorts...a death of hopes, dreams, etc.

allow yourself to grieve and move on. it sounds like you have things together for your young life. it sounds like he doesn't even know what he wants for today, let alone for the future. jump into school and friends. you're gonna do great!
