Hi there,
Where is this hospital? Is it near to you and can you visit him? How old is your son?
As his mother, you have every right to ring that hospital and request information(providing he is a minor) or you can simply ask if he is okay. You are family.....it is your fundamental right to be concerned and seek some answers.
