Hi Aly. I started on Effexor and was on that with no problems for 3 years. All of the sudden last July I began crying and felt so hopless. Finally in October they added Lamictil to my meds...that helped a little bit...so then they upped my Effexor from 150 to 225. No change. A week ago they upped the Lamictil to 50mg and added Trazedone for sleeping. Since then I have slept better and night and I think that is changing things. I have had a FULL WEEK of smiles and happy days. So changing of the meds has worked for me. Or adding to it anyway.
