me too. I was treated for depression mostly, then depression with anxiety. I never thought they worked well. But now I have made the connectin and have the BPD dx, and therapy is so helpful. I have Xanax to use a tiny bit of, and only once in a blue moon, but I prefer therapy

In fact I just realized that when I was having my recent period of distress/meltdown, I never reached for the Xanax or even thought about it...I thought about and called my therapist for an extra visit.
