I have heard from a few people that the drug Nalproxene helps with OCD, in my case obsessive shopping, and always having to be eating. I have episodes every once in a while with both, and lately have been having a hard time with the food mostly.

I asked my Doc to let me try the drug, although he wasn't quite sure it was the right one for me, and I started taking it about a week ago. It sure hasnt helped my eating, because I have had a few binges, and I havent had those in ages!!!

Could it be the drug that's causing that because I am prone to it, and it took me over the edge???

My doc says I am always grabing for food because my 'satisfaction' borometer is broken. Hence, I never am satisfied or happy, so I reach for things to calm me, make me happy, although they really do not work since I can never get enough, and just feel sick instead of satisfied.

Earlier I had a long list of things "TO DO" and just before starting I had to make a phonecall, which was first on my list, that I have been trying to avoid. So, instead, I grabbed for something to eat beforehand, and I just ended up binging on Triscuts, Nuts, pudding, and more. I am feeling quite sick and out of it now.

Any answers, suggestions, or ideas???
