I know EXACTLY how you feel Forgotten. I bought my first car when I was 18 and have always had my own car. When I moved to Norway I didn't have a car that I had access to until this summer. It was an incredibly hard adjustment and one I was not happy making but in time I found other ways. A car does give you more freedom. I am glad you will have a vehicle to use. That is important.

I still don't own my own car and living in Norway I probably never will because of the expense. That's still hard to swallow but I know it will be ok. I've found ways around it. I took the bus for the first time in my life here.

Hugs, hon, the loss seems great now but it will get better and you will adjust.
Big hugs,
Heidu
