I have OCD. Mostly intrusive thoughts but I do have some weird quicrks about the certain numbers that I try to avoid and contamination of medications and stuff like that. I take my meds so alot of my symptoms are under control but there are times when my OCD with get the best of me.
Generally, a big part of dealing with OCD, for me, the intrusive thoughts is deversion of thought. There are lots of excercises that you can do to divert your mind to others, more healthier things. If I dwell in my thoughts it triggers more and more negativity in me. I try to nip it in the bud when i notice myself quirking out.
