I have been taking this medication for nearly 2 years now, however all of the information I have read on it says it should only be used 'short term'? My psychiatrist has kept me on this pill indefinatly. I have tried other sleep medications such as zopiclone 7.5mg, 15mg, temazepam, trazadone but nothing seems to work as well as the zolpidem. I am getting really bad memory loss lately and i donot know if it is these pills. I sometimes cannot remember whole evenings/ parts of the day. I am always tired Its not nice. If i dont take the pills though i can be awake for days then end up very poorly.

Has anyone else had experience of this medication?
