Hi Googley,
when we feel hurt physically or emotionally, all we want is, for it to go away. When it doesn't we get frustrated, angry and start to feel hopeless. When you say you want to hurt yourself - are you talking about SI or the other S word? Have you told your doctor you're feeling alot worse?
The most important thing is to let your doctor know and discover which self help methods work for you during difficult times. Most of all, you need be patient and with that you might need to endure and accept this down stage you're going through. This doesn't mean you say "I give up and I'll never get better". It means you will be patient and take good care by keeping your doctor informed and using your little bag of emergency coping tricks to feel better. Try not to let the pain convince you that you must find relief by hurting yourself or not wanting to live. You're welcome to let your frustrations and feelings out here. You're in my thoughts and prayers that you'll feel relief from your pain.
