Inducing fear is a great way to have power and control over others. Fear is really "in" right now. Look around. Doomsday warnings on TV and movie screens all around us. It's as old as the human race. And for those of us with anxiety disorders, it's hard to ignore. I think my cynicism is holding my anxiety at bay on this one, though. The History Channel is racking up big ratings this month with all of the end-of-world programming. Just another way for someone to make money. It's just another fad and it, too, shall pass. I've been around long enough to have seen this fad more than once. Don't let em bring you down! They're stirring the pot to stir up ratings.
