My mother wouldn't even let my sister or I have waterguns in the house until I was probably 16.. Maybe even closer to 18. I'm leaning towards the same tendency...

And yet.. I find myself curious the shoot one at clay disks... Simply to learn what it is like.

But anyways, I completely agree with you and am not sure I see a middle ground either. I would never allow guns in my house, not even for hunting purposes. He can always rent a storage place to keep a gun if they are that important to him.
