Hi Cat,

I don't know if you ever say "Sin City" which was released in 2005 (for your sake, I am hoping not), but I really, really wanted to leave during that movie, although I didn't because I was there with my new boyfriend (at the time) and I didn't know how to explain what I was experiencing. I do know that once the movie was over I could barely talk and needed to go home and go to sleep asap. I was miserable. I have not seen "Avatar", so I cannot relate directly to your experience of this movie, but I know exactly how you feel. I am pretty picky about movies I see in general now...I try to avoid obnoxious comedies that everyone else think are funny (to me, they aren't, and then I just feel like something is wrong with me).

Sorry I can't offer more insight into this...I am curious what others have to say about this as well. I know that I am sensitive to lots of stimuli (noise, crowds, bright lights) in general, are you?
