Thanks for the feedback on psychoanalytic treatment. The treatment center/clinic/institute does offer an affordable fee. What I mean by warm: for me, a therapist who is truly interested in understanding what makes me tick, and asks probing questions, feels nurturing to me. I am not comfortable with physical contact with a therapist, for safety reasons. Warmth and nurturing is expressed by therapist's desire to understand me on a deeper level.
Will see where to go from there.
so far they are able to accommodate me but it's an hour's travel each way. That would be a total of 3 hours per day. sigh. I don't think I have that much energy. If they can provide something local I'd consider it. I'll check in with them to see if something geographically closer becomes available.
