It is true, varing temps that are under 101 are normal. I went for about 6 months with a temp of just under 101. My Dr diagnosed it as "temperature of unknown origin". Nothing that is going to harm you at all.....no no need to worry. This year when I was in the hospital, I started running a temp of 102. That was when my GP realized that my Central Line was infected. Unfortunately, I am allergic to most antibiotics & they scrambled to find one that I could take. Only when your temp goes to around 102 do you have a problem. Mild infections can usually be fought by your own antibodies & will go away in time. You may want to look up on the internet information about "fever of unknown origin" to get more information on it.....but it too is nothing to worry about at all.
I do hope you will be able to find some comfort in knowing that you are not alone with low grade temps & that there really is nothing seriously wrong.
Take care,
Debbie
