my doc just looks at me funny and ignores me when i say ativan works. the emergency room is the only place that gives me ativan, and they say my doc has to be the one to give me it, so they only give me enough to last until another appointment. they say it's terribly addictive and that's why. i guess i can try asking again in the morning when i see my doc.

and they seriously wouldn't give you meds based on alcohol which you hadn't had in 15 years?!
