Guess I have been lucky with my cold turkey stopping of Valium & other Benzos. I had been taking it for about 10 years more on than off & had OD'ed on it many times. I just decided to stop taking all my psych meds & that was it. I don't know if it is because I am on Fentynal (a narcotic) for my migraines that going of other meds doesn't seem to have any effect on me....I know going of the fentynal whenever that may happen will be a serious time for me. So far I have been on the level I'm on for almost 3 years without having to increase the dose (which is 200ug/hour).....we are all happy with the results I am having with it cause I haven't felt a migraine for those 3 years (big miracle). I don't know if I ever have a migraine & just don't feel it because of the pain med, but as long as I don't feel it, I believe I haven't had one. Will see when I have an MRI again so it can determine if the liasions in my brain have increased (indicating that I am having migraines). I know I'm not cured because I droped the dosage one time & the pangs of a migraine seemed to come back.
