I take xanax for my panic disorder. It is the only thing that helps. It is highly addictive and should never, ever be stopped cold turkey. It is highly dangerous to do so. Every once in a while I reach tolerance on my dosage and have to go through withdrawl symptoms while I cut back 1/2 dose to get it to work again. It's a horrible feeling.
