"Derealization is a change in an individual's experience of their environment, where the world around him/her feels unreal and unfamiliar. Sufferers often describe the sensation of derealization as being in a dream-like state where the environment seems unreal, foggy or hazy."
Does anybody else go through this sometimes? I experience it quite often some days, up to 3 times a day. It's usually pretty short-lived, but it's just weird and freaky.
It's supposed to be pretty common in panic disorders, and anxiety disorders.
What do you guys do when this happens to you? Do you freak out, or just wait until it's done?
