Hope, I feel that way too, plus, like many, I have this comfort of distance zone, if it someone enters it too soon before I feel comfortable I freeze or withdraw. Social anxiety? Shyness? I do not know.
Hugs with families or close friends, I have no problem, they are an exchange of fondness for each other.
Cyber hugs, felt awkward (sp?) at first, but now aren't so bad, I find them uplifting, and deeply appreciate them.
If there are people that do not want to have cyber hugs, and feel upset from them, it's okay not to accept them. But I personally, have grown to like them, and I say "thank you" to any of you reading this, they have gotten me through some dismal times.
