Hmm..I think it depends on which style you have your account set to. There is a dropdown list on the bottom left corner of the page you're viewing, where you can select which style you want the forum to appear in. I've got mine set to "Psych Central". My new posts appear with a white or yellow open envelope next to the thread title. I'm not sure about the other styles though.
