I guess some of the reason I was disappointed was because I have always had a problem with cysts and hormones. I have PCOS and at one time had over a dozen cysts in each ovary and a polyp in the lining of my uterus. I went on hormones which made the polyp release itself from my uterine wall and the cysts were bursting about once or twice every month. My obgyn said that there is no guarantee that the polyp wont come back and that if it did, it would act like an IUD and wouldn't allow me to get pregnant. So since I was 17 I knew that there was a chance that I wouldn't be able to conceive.

So even though I know its not the right time, I guess it got my hopes up that maybe I am able to..... I just hope I'm able to conceive when the time comes.
