Oprah was also abused - this is how she brings awareness to the world. She does this every now and again - really hard for me to watch too - i usually turn it off. I also knew all my abusers; dad, mom, grandma, teacher, neighbors... I too am riddled with a list of dx's that make life really difficult and I wonder who I might have been (who T thinks I can still be - T and my GP were abused and they are wonderful, shining, strong women). Right now I just feel like giving up. But I know that this is just right now.
