I'm 53 today and searching for exchange of information with grown children of mental health professionals, especially anyone who might have been involved in psychiatric and or behavioral studies during the 50's and early 60's, or any children of mental health professionals who might have similar stories to share for that matter.
My personal experiences occurred around the Veterans Administration Hospital and Menninger Foundation school of psychiatry in Topeka Kansas during the late 50's. I was later publicly raped as a teenager, as a form of new age therapy to overcome phobias of females.
Anyone please share because I do not know where someone who has been molested by the mental health profession turns for help.
In particular, where does a client who was sexually molested by their therapist go for therapy ? What form of therapy is available to overcome malfeasance therapy ?
Thanx.
