I'm like that - I eventually will start it up again: reading, scrap booking, sewing... I'll read for weeks on end and then stop reading for months. I was scrap booking, making money at and all of a sudden, after doing it for months, I just stopped. I go in spurts... Now I'm ready to scrap book again after not having done it for about 3 months. And all the books I've bought, yet to read, will be waiting for me this summer... I just go in spurts....
I'm bi-polar - not sure if this is part of being BP or not.
