I'm sorry to hear that you're upset and lonely.

Me and my b/f have been going through some issues over the past month, and the mere thought of losing him had me bawling my eyes out for weeks. I really though that he was going to leave me.

Things are getting better with us now, although very slowly, but I'm just saying that I know where you're coming from. The best thing you can do, from my own experience, is to be around people you love. Even if it's your parents. I don't consider myself to be SO close with my parents, but over the past month I've been so low and depressed at times, that I couldn't even be alone for more than an hour at a time. So I'd hang with my parents. It really helped, and I got a little bit closer to them in the meantime.

V-Day is my favorite holiday, but really it's just any other day. All the couples you see . . . none of them have perfect relationships. I'm not saying that everyone is miserable and unhappy, but don't let yourself get dragged into thinking that everyone who has someone is happy and content.

Don't worry; it'll be over in a couple of days and then you'll forget all about it. Good luck!
