Jmo, but it may not be just the drug. Many people have had the same type of thing where the initial dose is increased to reach therapeutic levels. It's not necessarily that the drug will not or has stopped working...

The major blow you had at work is going to play a huge part on how you are feeling. Perhaps three weeks is not enough time for you to have worked through all of it.
