Suffolk University in England has announced plans to scrap any history studies related to anything that took place pre 1700AD.

Personally, I think this is crazy. What about the Magna Carta? The Reformation? The English Civil War? The Wars Of The Roses? The Battle of Hastings? Shakespeare? Are they no longer important?
