I was going to respond earlier, when I originally read this post, but I just couldn't.

Reading this was so touching that it just made me cry. I cried because I remember walking hand in hand with my Grandfather when I was a child....unfortunately, he passed away when I was eight. But those memories remain somewhere deep, and when I read this I not only could see us both walking together, but I also grieved the fact that I will never be allowed the same experience of being there to support him in his elder years. I'm glad you had that moment with him.

Life comes full circle in so many different ways. Thank you for reminding me of that.

Your post was beautiful.

Shangrala: How wonderfully inspiring.
Your story exactly states how the cycle of life is never ending.
I loved that.

Thanks for sharing.

Shangrala

First of all, I am grateful for the responses to my post and all the "thanks" that you have put on, you all are very much welcome.

Just one more line:

Old trees do not give much fruit, but they do offer more shade!
