Like someone else said, those same guidelines apply to many other professions, but they also do not include that information in their paperwork. I don't see it as being necessary. Does anyone go into a therapist thinking it is okay to have a sexual relationship with them? Really? It's kind of like putting a warning sticker on a hair dryer saying don't use this while standing in water. Stating the obvious. My t has talked about this issue before. I am clear on what he believes, but putting it in writing doesn't guarantee a thing. I trust more what he says that what would be put in writing.
Thanks for this!
